2. Employment Equity, Training and Development
Glenwood Travel places great value on the principals entrenched in the Employment
Equity Act. We are currently rising to the challenges of adapting our workforce
profile in terms of race, gender and disability issues.
These challenges are met through:
- implementation of a successful employment equity programme.
- Mentoring and succession planning
- Training and development.
Due to the constraints of sourcing suitably qualified individuals from within the
Travel and Tourism profession, Glenwood has identified Training and Development
as a cornerstone of its employment equity strategy. Human capital development, skills
training and continuing education are factors that enjoy high priority.
3. Procurement
Affirmative procurement is essential in addressing the skewed representation of
previously disadvantaged individuals and business in the economy.
